The Australian Academy of
Boxing is the National Centre for the sports of Boxacise and Boxing.
Sports and fitness conditioning, competitions, coaching workshops, &
courses are conducted at the Academy gymnasium/conference centre and
through a nationwide network of licensed centres.
Formed in 1990 the Academy provides original practical boxing
orientated sports programs plus video training tutorials for public
participation, benefit and enjoyment.

Early in 2008 Ray also received the
Trafalgar Community Development Association
Citizenship Award
In December 2008 Ray Harris on behalf of the Trafalgar
Boxing Club
received a $1306 sponsorship cheque from Bryan Leaf manager of
the
Trafalgar Community Bank Branch Bendigo Bank who gladly
provided
their support for the club to purchase Australian Academy of
Boxing
training and protective equipment.
